I am a guitarist and songwriter, influenced by Classic, Progressive and Alternative Rock, with a bit of Celtic folk and classical music thrown in. I've played guitar in SF Bay Area bands since the early 80's, including Grickstorgl, Arms & Legs, Show & Tell, Dreamhouse, The Other and Dogpark. I also performed in Giraffe for the Genesis "Lamb Lies Down On Broadway" tribute at Progfest '94 in Los Angeles. I'm currently a solo artist, writing mostly instrumental music.
All my songs are self-produced, recorded with Apple's Logic Pro software. My instruments include a 1983 Gibson Les Paul Standard, 1990 Fender Ultra Stratocaster, 2016 Fender Telecaster, 1971 Yairi classical, 1993 Yamaha APX-10 electric acoustic, 1989 Fender Power Jazz Bass Special, 2012 Roosebeck Lute Guitar, 1993 Korg Wavestation EX, and a 2016 Roland TD1KV MIDI drum kit. I also use a Shure SM57 with a Tascam US-2x2 pre-amp for the vocals and miked acoustic guitars. Previously the electric guitars were processed through the Logic amp modelers, but now I'm using a Kemper Profiler directly into Logic.
